We are very excited to have Douglas Walker as the keynote speaker for our gathering! He is coordinator of criminal justie reform for the General Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church. After drug addiction resulted in his incarceration twenty years ago, Walker now works to reform the system that fails to offer treatment for addiction, results in too many people of color being incarcerated, and makes it difficult for those reentering our communities to obtain training and jobs.
