Join over 800 WISDOM leaders from across Wisconsin at the state capitol to advocate and educate legislators and departments about issues in the proposed state budget, including criminal justice, environmental justice, public health, education and public transit!

Featuring keynote speakers:


  • Rev. Alex Gee: Rev. Gee is the pastor of Fountain of Life Covenant Church in Madison. He is the founder and CEO of the Nehemiah Center for Urban Leadership. Rev. Gee is also the founder and visionary behind Madison’s “Justified Anger” movement.
  • Ms. Lisa Graves: Ms. Graves is the Executive Director of the Center for Media and Democracy (CMD), and the publisher of PRVwatch.org, ALECexposed.org, SourceWatch.org and other investigative sites. CMD is a national watchdog group, investigating and exposing the undue influence of corporations in public policy. Ms. Graves and CMD had a key role in the Netflix Documentary “13th”.

Cost: $25.00 - includes lunch, materials, and bus transportation. Scholarships are available.

Buses from Fox Cities locations the day of the event as follows:

  • 6:45 am First Congregational UCC, Appleton
  • 7:00 am St. Mark's Lutheran, Neenah
  • 7:15 am Park & Ride Oshkosh (South Park St. near Outlet Mall)

Returning to the same sites beginning at approximately 6:00 pm
