Milwaukee 53206 Film ImagePlease join us to watch the documentary Milwaukee 53206. It chronicles the lives of those affected by incarceration in America's most incarcerated city. This film illuminates the story of people from Milwaukee and across the United States who live with the daily effects of mass incarceration.

Immediately following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with:

  • Dr. Sylvia Carey Butler, Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence, UW-Oshkosh
  • Carl Fields, Vice–President, EXPO of WI; member of CUSH & RIC
  • Ron Johnson, Coordinator, Dane County Community Restorative Court
  • Rudy Bankston, Author and Restorative Justice Practice Coach at Madison Metropolitan School District.
  • State Rep. Michael Schraa, 53rd Assembly District; Chair, Assembly Committee on Corrections
  • Philip Bennett, supervisor at Neenah Foundry, owner of Envy Fashion and Fits, and a landlord in the Fox Cities.
