This event is part of the Race to Justice campaign, a series of local training and organizing gatherings being held this spring in locations around the state, with a focus on justice system reform in Wisconsin as an issue in the 2018 gubernatorial and state legislative races.
You are invited if you are a current ROC (Restore Our Communities) Wisconsin leader, ally, friend, or simply want to get involved. We will get clear about some of the many issues; we’ll practice telling our stories and hearing the stories of the people who have been most affected; we’ll get ourselves organized; and we’ll make plans for the next six months.
There is no charge for the the event. A light lunch will be available for a small donation.
Car pooling is being organized from the Appleton area. Meet in the parking lot at the east-side Target Store (1800 S Kensington Dr, Appleton, WI 54915-4136) at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 28.
