“Bridging Our Differences” - Social Hour, Dinner, Program

Pardeep KalekaESTHER’s 2022 Fall Gathering, Bridging Our Differences, marks ESTHER’s 18 years of building community, sharing hope and standing for justice in the Fox Valley. The event will be held on Thursday, September 15, starting at 4:30 pm, at Jefferson Park in Menasha.

Our keynote speaker this year will be Pardeep Kaleka, author and CEO of the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee. Pardeep’s father was killed in the mass shooting at the Sikh Temple in Oakfield, WI, in August of 2012. In the wake of this attack, he has become a powerful voice against hate. Working with his friend and co-author Arno Michaelis, he formed Serve2Unite so that “children of all ethnicities, from the inner city to the suburbs, are coming together to cherish each other as human beings and to assume the identity of peacemakers in their schools and communnities.”

The banquet will be preceded by a social hour and followed by a program featuring musical entertainment and Kaleka’s remarks.
