We are very excited to have Leonard Pitts, Jr., as our keynote speaker this year. Pitts is a journalist, commentator, lecturer, and best-selling author who was awarded the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Commentary and has received numerous other professional awards, before and since. He is a nationally syndicated columnist at the Miami Herald and is in high demand as a speaker. Pitts has published five books and has been a visiting professor at Princeton and George Washington Universities.
The banquet will also feature entertainment, presentation of awards, a slient auction, and a chance to celebrate another year of ESTHER’s work of sharing hope, building community, and standing for justice.
