Race, Racism and Anti-Racism
The public is invited to a series of small online group discussions on race, racism and anti-racism being offered by the Appleton Public Library. This three-part series, held on the first three Fridays of September, will be based on the Belonging Conversation Guides developed by Imagine Fox Cities and facilitated by a member of the Belonging Working Group.
Attendance of all three sessions is strongly recommended as each session will build on the discussions and themes from the previous session. Registration is required for these online events, and the Zoom link and password will be emailed to you prior to the event.
September 4: What is race and who defines it?
September 11: Racism: How does it shape our community?
September 18: How to be an anti-racist.
