“Bridging Our Differences”
Keynote speaker Pardeep Kaleka
Author and CEO of Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee

Pardeep's father was killed in the mass shooting at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, WI, in August of 2012. In the wake of this attack, he has become a powerful voice against hate. Pardeep and his friend, former white supremacist Arno Michaelis, formed Serve2Unite so that, in Pardeep's words, “children of all ethnicities, from the inner city to the suburbs, are coming together to cherish each other as human beings and to assume the identity of peacemakers in their schools and communities.”

$50 per person in person; $25 if attending via zoom. Registration deadline is September 8, 2022.

Register and optionally pay online: esther-foxvalley.org/fallgathering2022

The meal at our Fall Gathering will be a burrito bar from Chipotle (including vegetarian options). Dessert will be special cookies prepared by Jill Smith and Diane Putzer. Lemonade will be served with the meal. If you would like to have an adult beverage, you are welcome to bring one.

Burritos were purchased at Chipotle because of their strong commitment to justice through their sustainability practices, focus on responsibly raised meat and dairy, utilization of local foods, care for their employees and support for and solidarity with the Black community.
