ESTHER's 11th Annual Banquet - December 6, 2015

Building the Beloved Community

Join us as we celebrate our 11th Anniversary!

  • Sunday, December 6th - 5:00 PM
  • The Grand Meridian (2621 N. Oneida St.), Appleton

We are very excited to have Douglas Walker as the keynote speaker for our gathering! He is coordinator of criminal justice reform for the General Board of Church and Society of the United Methodist Church. After drug addiction resulted in his incarceration twenty years ago, Walker now works to reform the system that fails to offer treatment for addiction, results in too many people of color being incarcerated, and makes it difficult for those re-entering our communities to obtain training and jobs.

Our emcee will be Rev. Jane Voigts, a self-styled “irreverent reverend,” stand-up comic, and former associate pastor at Appleton's First United Methodist Church.

Join us for fellowship, a great silent auction, joyous music, a delicious meal, well deserved awards, and an altogether wonderful celebration.
