“Violation Response and Revocation”

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections invites the public to join its Secretary, Kevin A. Carr, on Wednesday, November 18 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am for a virtual town hall meeting. As part of the agency’s continued commitment to safely reducing our prison population, the Division of Community Corrections (DCC) has conducted a thorough review of the practices related to Violation Response and Revocation. A project committee was created in early 2019 to work with DOC leadership and draft policy changes for consideration in several key focus areas.

During this moderated session, panelists will discuss the agency’s recommendations and proposed policy changes and gather valuable feedback from the audience. Panelists will also lead a Q&A session to answer questions from stakeholders.

Registration is required. The event will be streamed live and will also be recorded for later viewing on the DOC website. Attendees joining online will receive a livestream link via email upon registration and 30 minutes prior to the event.

Participants are encouraged to submit their questions here no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, November 13. Questions will be reviewed in advance for common themes to assist panelists in addressing each topic.
